Representatives of the CBU participated in the founding meeting of the Council of Exporters and Investors (hereinafter referred to as CEI) under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, which functions as a structural division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and takes care of issues of diplomatic support for domestic exporters.
The event was devoted to the discussion of effective mechanisms aimed at the implementation of national priorities for the exit of Ukrainian exporters to foreign markets and the protection of their economic interests abroad. CBU was represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Olexandr S. Rotov and the CEO of GERZ HOLDING Artem M. Semeniuk, who are part of the CEI of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"The priority issues of the work of the Council of Exporters and Investors under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine relate, first of all, to the creation of a working mechanism for processing applications from domestic companies to promote their products and find partners in foreign markets by using the available opportunities of Ukrainian diplomatic missions abroad," commented the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the CBU Olexandr S. Rotov, focusing on the fact that this is the key to the stable operation of CEI. For its part, CBU will make as much effort as possible to ensure that new foreign markets turn into real opportunities for Ukrainian builders and developers. A number of such issues relate, in particular, to issues of migration legislation, which make legal labor migration to foreign markets impossible as part of a Ukrainian business that acts as an employer for such migrants.
According to the results of the constituent meeting, the parties agreed to hold similar meetings on a regular basis and to translate communication into the format of creating branch divisions of the CEI of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responsible for the development of activities in foreign markets.
